"Waltz from the film The Leper" is one of the most recognizable pieces by Wojciech Kilar. This composer is one of the most important creators of film music in Poland, as well as in the world. Kilar was born in 1932 and gained fame primarily due to his excellent work as a composer of soundtracks. The film "The Leper", from which this waltz comes, was made in 1976 and is an adaptation of the novel by Helena Mniszkówna.
