Opium String Quartet (O.S.Q) was formed in the spring of 2004. Just under three months later, they made their debut at the summer festival in honor of Jerzy Waldorf in Radziejowice, receiving enthusiastic reviews.

The Turtle Island Quartet is a musical group founded in 1985 by violinist Darin Johnson. They specialize in performing various genres of music, combining jazz, classical motifs, and world music. One of their more interesting achievements is the arrangement of the song "Hey Joe," written by Billy Roberts and recorded by Jimi Hendrix. "Hey Joe" is a rock standard from the 1960s that gained immense popularity thanks to Jimi Hendrix's performance.
