Mozart/Dresser Concerto for Bassoon and Orchestra in B-flat major, K.191/186e - I. Allegro It is completely obsessive to see such a talented composer as Mozart in a true performance. The Concerto for Bassoon and Orchestra in B-flat major, K.191/186e is one of his most famous works. This is the first part of the concerto, Allegro, conducted by the outstanding conductor Adam Sztaba. Sinfonia Varsovia fantastically captures the energy and dynamics of this piece, while the bassoonist leads us through various themes and virtuosic passages. In the next segment of the concert, the beautiful lullaby "Sleep Safe and Warm" performed by Leszek Możdżer and Zohar Fresco. This lullaby comes from the iconic film "Rosemary's Baby" and is a musical masterpiece by Możdżer himself. The jazz virtuosos not only perform this song with incredible delicacy, but also add their unique interpretations that make the lullaby a true work of art. Listening to the subsequent pieces from this concert, we can see that each of them is exceptional in its form and twist. This includes both serious themes as well as cheerful and joyful ones. Adam Sztaba perfectly interprets these diverse compositions, leading Sinfonia Varsovia with incredible harmony and precision. "Here is Warsaw - part 3" is not only an excellent concert but also a reminder of the great talent that exists in Polish music and cinematography. Here we can see and hear both classical works and modern interpretations, combining tradition with modernity. This is an absolute must-see for all lovers of music and film.
This concert "Here Warsaw" made a huge impression on me! The music performed by the Sinfonia Varsovia under the baton of Adam Sztaba is a true feast for the ears. The Pirates and Impossible Opening take us to distant worlds full of adventures and emotions. And the performance by Leszek Możdżer and Zohar Fresco is pure magic. Their rendition of Sleep Safe and Warm from the movie "Rosemary's Baby" transports us to a completely different dimension. It is an unforgettable experience for all film music lovers. An exceptional evening full of talents!
