Tomasz Dolski, a renowned Polish violinist and composer, presents his performance of one of the most famous classical works - "The Four Seasons" by Antonio Vivaldi. In this case, we focus on the third piece from this series, titled "Summer - Storm". It is worth mentioning that this is a version of the piece in the style of Vanessa Mae, a British violinist known for blending classical music with elements of pop and techno. Dolski decided to introduce this fresh approach to his interpretation, resulting in something completely new and original. Tomasz Dolski is not a stranger in the Polish show business, especially for fans of the program "Must Be The Music", in which he performed. The recording of this piece took place in May 2010, when Dolski was only 14 years old. This is evidence of his immense talent and commitment to his development as an artist. The music video was filmed in Tomasz Dolski's home studio, which adds charm and authenticity to it. Despite some imperfections, such as the sound quality, which Dolski himself apologized for, he still skillfully conveys the main idea of the piece. "The Four Seasons" is a masterpiece of classical music that reminds us of the various aspects of nature and its variability. Based on the baroque form of the concerto grosso, "Storm" presents sharp, dynamic, and turbulent melodies that capture the atmosphere of a summer storm. This part of the cycle is a true challenge for any violinist, and Dolski certainly rose to the occasion. Finally, in his performance of "Summer - Storm", Tomasz Dolski proves that he is not only a talented violinist but also a gifted composer and arranger. His artistic abilities have developed over the years, and today we can enjoy the excellent result of his work. This recording serves as a tribute to Vivaldi's original piece as well as an expression of Tomasz Dolski's personal style.
