The REED CONNECTION anchor trio is a joint initiative of the soloists of the Tadeusz Baird Zielona Góra Philharmonic. The main idea behind the formation of the ensemble is to promote the joy of making music together and to promote Polish and world music.
The group was formed at the initiative of the outstanding Polish bassoonist, soloist of the National Philharmonic in Warsaw Leszek Wachnik. They were joined by: oboist Agnieszka Wachnik and professor at the F. Chopin University of Music in Warsaw Romuald Gołębiowski.
The Transcription Ensemble Trio was founded in 2007 by Yorgos Kandylidis, Christos Grimpas, and Nikos Zafranas. They regularly perform as soloists and chamber musicians in Greece and many European countries.

Astor Piazzolla's composition is wonderful, and Jarle Storløkken's arrangement highlights the beauty of the piece. This tango comes to life thanks to the trumpet and the dynamic rhythms of the guitar, double bass, and drums. I'm glad I could listen to such an incredible interpretation.
