Marcelo Diana Pujol, born in 1957 in Buenos Aires, is an Argentine composer, guitarist, and educator. His work encompasses various musical genres, including chamber music, solo pieces, and concertos. Pujol is primarily known as a guitar composer, inspired by the tradition of tango. One of his most famous works is the suite Buenos Aires, which was composed in four parts. The second part, titled "Palermo," was written with the idea of flute and guitar in mind. In this composition, Pujol experiments with styles and musical techniques known from tango music, creating a unique sound and atmosphere. This is absolutely brilliant! I love how the flute and guitar together create such a beautiful sound. The Buenos Aires Suite is one of my favorite pieces, and this interpretation truly amazed me. Irmina Gocek and Florian Beyer are incredible musicians; their playing is full of passion and emotion. You can really feel the Argentine atmosphere in this music. This is something we need more of in today's world - beautiful and inspiring music. Huge applause for the performers!
