During this exceptional evening, there were also gifts for the audience - the charismatic artist encores three times, performing, among others, the aria "Signore Ascolta!" from the opera Turandot by Giacomo Puccini and the bravura aria "Spiel Ich die Unschuld" from the operetta "Die Fledermaus" by Johann Strauss.
To avoid being too serious, I won't start by saying that Luca is unearthly handsome (as if it wasn't enough that he plays the cello like a poet and a hard rocker in one). The cello, which was somewhat unfairly overshadowed by a certain beautiful cellist, comes to life in the hands of this young god. It comes to life, screams, argues, and cries. In such a game, one can find a whole range of human experiences and emotions.
Baroque is an era mainly associated with splendor and ornamentation. The beginning of this era in music is considered to be the end of the 16th century, and the end of this period is marked by the death of Johann Sebastian Bach (1750). Interestingly, this era in music is completely different from other art forms...

"The Threepenny Opera" is an opera by the famous German composer Kurt Weill. It is not only one of the most important works in the history of musical theater but also fits into the era in which it was created - the 1920s, the interwar period. This opera tells the story of Mackie Messer - a ruthless criminal who, along with his wife Polly, becomes immersed in a world of corruption, violence, and betrayal. However, it is also intertwined with social threads, criticizing immorality and hypocrisy. The video presents a fragment of one of the songs from the opera, performed by Rudolf Forster as Mackie Messer, Carolyn Neher as Polly, and other distinguished artists who embody various characters. Kurt Weill was an outstanding German composer and pianist, born in 1900. He was a co-founder of the so-called "Berlin School" - a group of artists who created a new musical form, combining elements of classical music, jazz, and cabaret. His work was innovative and bold, gaining recognition both in the artistic community and among the wider public. Songs from Kurt Weill's musicals also appeared on the album "Melodies of Kurt Weill and Something More" by Kazik Staszewski, which attests to the influence that Weill's work has had on subsequent generations of artists. "The Threepenny Opera" is not only an excellent combination of music and drama but also a reflection on the condition of society and the morality of the individual. Over 100 years since its premiere, it maintains its popularity and is still felt as a strong social and artistic message.

The songs from this show are full of emotion and message, and Kazik Staszewski interprets them brilliantly on his album. Rudolf Forster, Carola Neher, and the rest of the cast wonderfully embody the distinctive characters. It's amazing how times change, but these pieces still have the power to move. I recommend it to anyone looking for something different and inspiring.
