Selected rock arrangements of classical music with a touch of commentary. Pieces written hundreds of years ago can come back and penetrate into popular music, jazz, rock, pop, rap, metal - basically everywhere. The penetration here occurs not only in the sphere of composition, but also in the instruments.
In the first notes of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Requiem" played by the symphony orchestra in Bydgoszcz under the baton of Bassem Akiki, a calmness and immense focus filled the concert hall, only to be soon filled with sounds spatially spreading from the speakers of the Opera Nova choir in Bydgoszcz, which was singing in the foyer. The sublime atmosphere that was created by the unconventional message of a specific prayer awakened our imagination, the sound of words from beyond intensified the authenticity of what the genius composed, hypnotizing our attention.
The name of this musical form comes from the Italian word suonare meaning "to sound". In the past (17th century), a sonata was an instrumental piece for multiple voices and thus became the opposite of a vocal cantata.

"Red" is one of the most important works of the British group King Crimson, which is known for creating rock music with an exceptionally progressive character. The compositions of this British formation, founded in 1968, are characterized by extraordinary experimentalism, combining elements of rock, jazz, heavy metal, and classical music. Nevertheless, there are many other symphonic arrangements of King Crimson's works that have been recorded and released by various artists, allowing for the discovery of new interpretations of their music.
