Karol Szymanowski, a Polish composer and pianist, is one of the most important creators of classical music in the 20th century. His work "Harnasie" is an opera that was created as a result of inspiration from Highland music. Op. 55 is the catalog number of this composition, indicating its place in the artist's oeuvre. The presented performance mainly focuses on the concert version of "Harnasie", where a solo tenor, mixed choir, and orchestra perform on stage. The conductor of this piece is Marcin Nańcz-Niesiołowski, who interprets Szymanowski's music excellently. Adam Zdunikowski, embodying the role of the soloist, performs the tenor part with incredible expressiveness and emotional depth.
