During this exceptional evening, there were also gifts for the audience - the charismatic artist encores three times, performing, among others, the aria "Signore Ascolta!" from the opera Turandot by Giacomo Puccini and the bravura aria "Spiel Ich die Unschuld" from the operetta "Die Fledermaus" by Johann Strauss.
The last, 12th volume of the "Musical Encyclopedia PWM" went on sale on February 12 this year. Thus, the 33-year history of one of the most ambitious projects of the Polish Music Publishing House comes to an end.

The beautiful and world-renowned opera by Johann Strauss, "Die Fledermaus," was fully utilized in one of the episodes of the popular cartoon "Tom and Jerry." This musical feast is a remarkable example of how classical music can be woven into animation, creating an extraordinary harmony between image and sound. Johann Strauss is a famous Austrian composer, whose works were particularly known at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. He became a symbol of waltz music and was known for many exceptional compositions, including "Die Fledermaus." This comic opera, set in the Romantic era, gained immense popularity both among audiences and artists. In the cartoon "Tom and Jerry," "Die Fledermaus" serves as a splendid sound backdrop, highlighting not only humorous moments but also creating tension and enhancing the drama of the scenes. This operatic composition fits perfectly into the entire action of the cartoon, adding flavor and elegance. An important element of this episode is also the form in which the music was utilized. We can hear orchestral fragments, solo singing, and choir, simultaneously creating a richness of sounds and a diversity of emotions. Strauss masterfully operates various instruments, allowing the cartoon creators to tune the soundtracks to different situations and moods. This episode is absolutely brilliant! The combination of Johann Strauss's music with the characters of Tom and Jerry is truly a hit. They wonderfully capture the atmosphere and humor of the operetta "Die Fledermaus." Who would have thought that such classical music could be used so perfectly in animation? This is an example that classic and modern elements can blend beautifully together. I can't get enough of how Tom and Jerry move so gracefully to the rhythm of Strauss's waltzes. A wonderful production that certainly provides a lot of fun and joy. I recommend it to everyone, regardless of age!
