This video captured my heart! Jadwiga Kotnowska wonderfully interprets The Four Seasons - Winter. Her flute playing is incredibly precise and full of emotion. The whole is complemented by the excellent performance by the Leopoldinum Chamber Orchestra. It's no wonder this interpretation is so popular - you can feel the magic of winter from the very first notes. Although the piece is dynamic, it contains both delicacy and strength. I love how Kotnowska brings Vivaldi's music to life and how smoothly she transitions through different emotions. This is absolutely a wonderful recording that everyone should hear!
