Have you ever been to a concert where the audience rises from their seats with a huge applause and burst of joy in the middle? That's exactly what happened in Krynica Zdrój just after Artur Ruciński's performance of the aria 'Largo al factotum' during a gala organized by the 'Aria' Association from Krakow on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Jan Kiepura's death.
Since 2008, he has been the permanent conductor of the German orchestra Concerto Brandenburg, specializing in the performance of classical music on historical instruments.
I first heard Fauré's Requiem when I was fourteen. At that time, my entire perception was focused on the creativity of one of the Viennese classics, the creator of the most famous mass of consolation - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
