Flute is the general name for wind instruments with wooden lips (often made of metal, silver, or gold nowadays). The most common variations of the flute are the grand flute (most popular) and the piccolo.
Born in Fukuoka, Japan. After completing her studies in Tokyo, she moved to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris, where she graduated with honors.

Aqualung is a piece that is incredibly well-known and loved by many Jethro Tull fans, so seeing it in such an original interpretation with the orchestra is a real treat for the ears. The flute and Anderson's singing sound so magical that it's hard to believe that so many years have passed since the album was released. It shows how incredibly universal and timeless this music is.
