Opium String Quartet (O.S.Q) was formed in the spring of 2004. Just under three months later, they made their debut at the summer festival in honor of Jerzy Waldorf in Radziejowice, receiving enthusiastic reviews.
He graduated with honors in composition in the class of Marian Borkowski (1996) and conducting in the class of Ryszard Dudek (1997) at the Academy of Music in Warsaw. He perfected his conducting skills under the direction of Zoltan Pesko (2000-2002) and Yuri Simonov (2003-2008).

This string quartet is incredibly talented and their performance is moving. What I like most is how each instrument harmonizes with one another, creating a beautiful melody. The string instruments have such a natural and beautiful sound quality that makes you want to listen to them endlessly. I really appreciate the skills of all the members of the ensemble. It's a wonderful way to combine classical music with modern performance. I highly recommend everyone to watch this video!
