I first heard Fauré's Requiem when I was fourteen. At that time, my entire perception was focused on the creativity of one of the Viennese classics, the creator of the most famous mass of consolation - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Antonio Vivaldi, best known as a Baroque composer, is the author of the Bassoon Concerto in E minor RV 484. This Italian musician and priest was not only one of the most important creators of his era but also one of the first masters of concert forms in music. The concerto RV 484 consists of three parts, the first of which, Allegro poco, begins at 00:50. It is a dynamic and energetic introduction characterized by intense and virtuosic passages for the bassoon. Next, at 05:01, the second part, Andante, begins, which provides a moment of respite. Here, Vivaldi focuses on the instrument's melodiousness, creating beautiful, melancholic melodic lines. Finally, at 08:43, the concerto ends with the third part - Allegro. This is dynamic and concludes with exposed and rapid passages for the bassoon. The video features a performance of the RV 484 concerto by the Karol Szymanowski Music School Orchestra in Warsaw, as part of the 3rd National Competition for Music School Orchestras. The main soloist is Klaudia Abramczuk, a talented bassoonist who performs her role with incredible precision and expressiveness. The conductor is Marta Kluczyńska, who can be seen at the head of the orchestra, guiding them through the various sections of the piece. The performance is definitely impressive, both technically and interpretatively. Klaudia Abramczuk is able to perfectly extract the beauty and clarity of sound from the bassoon, creating emotional and striking musical phrases. Marta Kluczyńska, in turn, expertly directs the orchestra, maintaining an excellent balance between the soloist and the rest of the ensemble. Here we have both the beauty of Vivaldi's composition and the talent of the performing artists. This performance of the Bassoon Concerto in E minor RV 484 is full of passion, finesse, and professionalism and certainly deserves recognition.
It was amazing! Klaudia Abramczuk on the bassoon reminded me why I love classical music. Her playing was full of passion and emotion. Marta Kluczyńska conducted the orchestra brilliantly, creating a wonderful harmony. Vivaldi's Concerto for Bassoon in E minor was beautiful and energetic. I love the way Vivaldi combines different melodies and rhythms. It was definitely an exceptional performance that will stay in my memory. I am glad I could watch it!
