"Silent Night" is an iconic Polish carol that has been presented in a new, very exciting interpretation. The recording performed by Zbigniew Wodecki, one of the greatest Polish artists, was lost for 15 years, but now it has seen the light of day thanks to the careful rediscovery by Zbyszek Stelmasiak. To further emphasize the uniqueness of this recording, the talented actress Joanna Kulig joined in for a duet. This meeting of two exceptional artists is our holiday surprise, filling us with warmth and hope. In the difficult times we live in, music has immense power, and this carol interpretation has that magical aura that connects earth and heaven. We thank Joanna Kulig for her contribution to this recording and Zbyszek Stelmasiak for his discovery. We would also like to thank Rafał Stępień, Michał Barański, and Krzysztof Gradziuk for their wonderful music and Karol Małkowski for the excellent mixing of the piece. We cannot forget about Tomek Kolarski, who supported us at every step. We also thank the Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw for their hospitality and Studio Quality for their work on this recording. We hope that 2021 will bring much good, and we will have the opportunity to meet in person during the next edition of the WODECKI TWIST festival, which will take place in June. For everyone who would like to recall the concert "Good that you are here" from the Słowacki Theatre in Krakow, we recommend the festival's YouTube channel, where it can still be watched. Wishing for many wonders to come true, not only during the holidays, we thank the Zbigniew Wodecki Foundation for sharing this extraordinary recording and reminding us of the beauty of "Silent Night."
Youth comment: It is wonderful that a recording of "Silent Night" performed by Zbigniew Wodecki has been found, and even more fantastic that Joanna Kulig joined him. It is a great holiday surprise that should add a bit of warmth and hope for all of us in this difficult year. The duo of Kulig and Wodecki radiates positive energy, and I believe that their performance of "Silent Night" is something exceptional. This is exactly the kind of carol we needed. I believe that 2021 will bring us much good and that we will be able to participate together in the WODECKI TWIST festival in June. For those who would like to reminisce about the concert "Good that you are here," we recommend the foundation's YouTube channel, where you can watch it. We wish everyone that miracles come true, not just during the holidays!
