The return of a legend and one of the fathers of contemporary disco sound - Todd Terje with a special visit to Praga Centrum on December 6!

Born in 1981 in Mjøndalen, Norway, Terje Olsen has never hidden his fascination with electronic music, especially that which borders on house and disco. Among his numerous aliases, you can find gems like Duliatten Disco Dandia, New Mjøndalen Disco Swingers, or even Chuck Norris. However, in homage to the famous Todd Terry, the Norwegian decided to present himself more widely to the world as Todd Terje. It was under this pseudonym that he began releasing original productions in the mid-2000s. Previously, he mainly focused on edits, which became hits in local clubs, and he was dubbed 'one of the holy trinity of Norwegian disco' alongside Prins Thomas and Hans-Peter Lindstrøm.

Todd's career began to gain momentum at the start of the second decade of the current century. In 2011, the keen eye and ear of Gerd Janson discovered among thousands of recordings the track Ragysh. The piece fit perfectly into the aesthetic of the German label, the renowned Running Back. The progressive track caused quite a stir in the electronic music world, making it into the selections of many leading players. The Norwegian had no choice but to prove his potential and convince everyone, including Gerd Janson (known), that he was right to give a chance to the newcomer.
