One of the most frequently watched Łódź performances. Continuously filling the audience of Powszechny. The hairdressing salon 'Crazy Scissors' run by the master of the comb and – of course – scissors, Ola Boskiego has already been visited by over 240,000 people. The salon is renowned for its excellent service and professional services, unfortunately, on its unblemished reputation, a blemish appears – a murder in the apartment adjacent to the salon committed by an unknown perpetrator. The suspects are both the salon staff and its clients. And here the audience steps in... You will actively participate in the investigation pointing out the culprit, thanks to you, brave policemen can recreate the fateful event with the smallest details, and finally, you, the audience, decide the ending of the play.
Both the audience and the actors on stage have a great time. Excellent dialogues and fantastic acting lead everyone to bellyaches. Naturally from laughter! (Wiadomości Dnia)
Paul Pörtner - was born in 1925 in Wuppertal, studied German philology, Romance studies, and philosophy; from 1958 until his death lived in Switzerland; was a writer, researcher of cultural phenomena, director, led an acting team, was a translator, publisher. The first American version of Pörtner's play was titled Who Did It and was performed at GeVa Theatre in Rochester with Bruce Jordan in the role of the hairdresser.
