Spells invites you to another episode of the Rituals series. The May service of the blossoming of our hearts and bodies will be led by the New York priestess of alternative R&B Yullola. The evening will be opened by a sister from the local parish of underground trip-hop sounds Zozolqa. Yullola (Yullola) is a singer, writer, producer, and dancer from New York. Experimenting with spiritual themes of rhythm and voice, she creates her unique sound world of innocent play. Delight is at the center of her work, inspired by the absurd beauty of modern life, dreams, and meditation. While composing music, Yullola often dances to her beats, allowing movement to suggest words and melodies. As a child, Yullola trained in classical Hindustani music and sang in a local gospel choir, always on a journey to shape her voice as an instrument of spiritual expression. Yullola is currently completing her trilogy of works, consisting of the albums Monastery of Love (2023), Zen Maiden (2024), and the project Strange Serenity, which will be released this year.
