She Past Away is one of the flagship representatives of dark-wave. They draw the best from the 80s, including influences from The Cure, Sisters Of Mercy, and Clan of Xymox, and combine it with minimalist Turkish poetry. The beginnings of She Past Away date back to 2006, when vocalist/guitarist Volkan and bassist Idris wrote their first songs. In 2009, Doruk Ozturkcan (electronic drums) joined the band, and they recorded their debut EP “Kasvetli Kutlama”. After releasing the album “Belirdi Gece” in 2012 and “Narin Yaln!!!u0131zl!!!u0131k” in 2015, the band returned with a new album “Disko Anksiyete” (Fabrika Records).
