Robert Kwiatkowski is among the outstanding Polish musicians of his generation. This remarkable violinist and chamber musician has won awards at many prestigious chamber music competitions both in Poland and abroad, as well as numerous distinctions for his artistic achievements. In the musical community, he enjoys a reputation as an active animator of cultural and musical life and a valued lecturer at the St. Moniuszko Academy of Music in GdaÅsk. Since 2014, he has served as the concertmaster of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic named after F. Chopin in GdaÅsk.

Robert Kwiatkowski is a graduate of the Academy of Music in GdaÅsk in the class of violin under Prof. Krystyna Jurecka and chamber music under Prof. Anna Prabucka â Firlej. As a violinist and chamber musician, he further honed his craft under the guidance of many outstanding Polish and foreign artists such as Henry Meyer from the 'LaSalle Quartet', Miró String Quartet, Joseph Kalichstein, Sebastian Hamann, Marina Jaszwili, Jadwiga Kaliszewska, and Stefan Kamasa. For several years, he has been serving as an assistant professor at his alma mater, where he obtained the academic title of Doctor of Musical Arts.
The violinist leads an extremely active artistic activity â both as a soloist, chamber musician, concertmaster, and conductor. As a soloist, he has performed multiple times with the Polish Baltic Philharmonic, Radom Chamber Orchestra, 'Hanseatica' Chamber Orchestra, Beethoven Academy Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfonica de Tenerife, and Orquesta Sinfónica de Chile. The artist also receives regular invitations to the most prestigious orchestras, where he holds the position of guest concertmaster and soloist, performing on many prestigious stages. He has collaborated with orchestras such as: Beethoven Academy Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra, The Symphony Orchestra of Tenerife, Sinfonica de Galicia, and Orquesta Sinfónica de Chile; working with outstanding conducting personalities: Sir Neville Marriner, Krzysztof Penderecki, Antoni Wit, Jacek Kaspszyk, and MichaÅ Nesterowicz.
Since 2013, the violinist has been collaborating as a primarius with the 'Messages' String Quartet, which consists of graduates of prestigious European universities, lecturers at the Academy of Music in Kraków, and musicians from NOSPR: Oriana Masternak, Maria Dutka, and Beata Urbanek â Kalinowska. The artistic goals of the 'Messages' formation include performing and promoting Polish chamber music, including works by Moniuszko, Szymanowski, Laks, Panufnik, Scharwenka, Wajnberg, and many others.
In 2003, together with violist Åukasz Lisowski, he founded the 'Hanseatica' Chamber Orchestra, in which he serves as concertmaster and director. His uncompromising and thorough work, along with originality and musical sensitivity, laid the foundations for the artistic level of the ensemble, appreciated by many outstanding artists from the national and international scene. During numerous concerts of this orchestra in Poland and Europe, he performed alongside such artists as Radovan VlatkoviÄ, Dag Jensen, Yeon-Hee Kwak, Enrique Mazzola, Sebastian Hamann, Eugene Indjic, Andrzej Bauer, Motion Trio. He has performed at Tonhalle in Zurich, Colosseum in Lübeck, and multiple times at German music festivals such as 'Rottweiler Sommersprossen' and 'Musikfestival' in Seelze, as well as on stages in Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, and Russia.
Additionally, the musician is the founder of the 'Dalà Piano Quartet' with which he has won several awards and distinctions at national and international competitions, including in France, Italy, and Austria.
In the artist's achievements, there are also other prestigious nominations and artistic awards: Pomeranian Artistic Award, nomination for the 'Fryderyk' award (together with the 'Hanseatica' Chamber Orchestra and SÅawek JaskuÅke), Scholarship of the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship for Cultural Creators, Award of the Red Rose Association, and Artistic Scholarship of the President of the City of GdaÅsk.
