RESONANCES OF ART XII SUCH A TRIO – Baj, Gliszczyński, Lupa PAINTING

From April 22 to June 26, 2022, in the foyer of the National Forum of Music named after Witold Lutosławski, the exhibition RESONANCES OF ART XII SUCH A TRIO – Baj, Gliszczyński, Lupa PAINTING will be available for viewing, curated by Professor Piotr Kielan.

The opening of the event will take place on April 22, 2022, at 6:00 PM in the foyer of NFM on level I.

RESONANCES OF ART XII 'SUCH A TRIO' is a true painting feast prepared for us by its heroes: Stanisław Baj, Krzysztof Gliszczyński, and Wojciech Lupa. We encounter the creativity of the first two authors on such a scale and in this edition in Wrocław for the first time, while our local creator – Wojciech Lupa – rarely presents his works in such a comprehensive manner, which is why this event can also be classified as the first significant exposure of his works after many years. Three debuts? Inside the National Forum of Music – yes, but in exhibition salons in Poland and beyond – of course not. Each of the artists has many wonderful successes and exhibitions in renowned galleries and museums behind them. This time, they allowed themselves to be enchanted by the atmosphere and the world prevailing in the Philharmonic building, which conjures up climates that are unprecedented in professional gallery interiors. Thinking about this exhibition, I wanted it to be an affirmation of painting, color, space, sensitivity, and diligence, a true beginning of spring. That’s how I felt just a few months ago, not suspecting that in a few weeks our bodies and minds would be pierced by the pain and sorrow caused by the Ukrainian tragedy.
