Rafał Dołęgala

Born in Zielona Góra. Graduate of the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź in the bassoon class of Prof. Krzysztof Kamiński. From 1997 to 2002, he completed postgraduate studies at the Hochschule für Musik Essen (Prof. J.H. Thomsen) and at the Hochschule für Musik Köln (Prof. M. Reina). He has collaborated with many renowned Polish and foreign orchestras such as: Teatr Wielki in Łódź, Łódź Philharmonic, Capella Cracoviensis, Krakow Philharmonic, Bach Collegium München, New Rhein Chamber Orchestra Köln, Opera Haus Krefeld, Folkwang Kammerorchester Essen, Internationale Junge Orchesterakademie, Internationale Jugend-Festspieltreffens Bayreuth. Rafał Dołęgala is also a participant in many master and chamber music courses, where he had the pleasure of collaborating with professors: Z. Tlatlik, W. Osadziny, J. Blank, D. Kolbinger, M. Spangenberg, M. Romhild, F. Essman, D. Jensen, Prof. M. Wilkie. He was a scholarship holder of Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland. Since 1992, he has been a soloist of the Zielona Góra Philharmonic named after T. Baird and collaborates with Klassische Philharmonie Bonn. He has performed in many countries: Denmark, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Morocco, South Korea.
