Radosław Kurek is a versatile pianist - excelling both as a soloist and chamber musician. His main artistic features are: immense musical sensitivity, excellent sound manipulation and complete dedication to the composer's intentions combined with great insight into the author's text. His stage interpretations far exceed the average, they are saturated with intensity and concentration that do not allow the audience to remain indifferent. Radosław Kurek's public performances are characterized by beautiful instrument sound, charisma and great passion. He is an artist with immense capabilities, whose great advantage is the ability to work with other musicians. This is evidenced by the rich list of his artistic successes: awards won at numerous piano and chamber music competitions, solo recitals in renowned philharmonic halls, concerts held in Poland and Europe, as well as recordings.


Radosław Kurek graduated with honors from the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, in the piano class of Prof. Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, whom he was an assistant to in 2008-2009. He also honed his skills at numerous piano and chamber music courses, workshops and master classes working under the guidance of personalities such as: Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, Pavel Vernikov, Kurt Seibert, Maja and Konstantin Weitz, Niklas Schmidt, Sebastian Hamann, Viera Nossina, John O'Conor, Ewa Pobłocka, Maja Nosowska and Szabolcs Esztenyi. Since 2009, he has been a lecturer at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. There, in 2014, he obtained a doctorate in musical arts.

The artist has participated in many prestigious musical events, performing both as a soloist and chamber musician in Austria, Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Egypt and many cities in Poland. As a soloist, he has performed with the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra, Wrocław Philharmonic and the Sinfonietta Cracovia. He has performed with conductors such as Jacek Kaspszyk, Michał Nesterowicz, Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, Roman Jabłoński, Jadwiga Kotnowska; he has also collaborated with Robert Kabara, Wiesław Kwaśny and Agata Zubel. He has played in venues such as the Krakow Philharmonic, Baltic Philharmonic, Wrocław Philharmonic, Łódź Philharmonic, Auditorium Augustianum (Rome), Great Hall of the City Hall in Vienna (Festsaal) and Auditorium al Duomo in Florence (Italy).

The pianist has participated in numerous music competitions and festivals, resulting in an extensive list of achievements. The artist values most highly the award of The Bridget Doolan Prize for the best performance of a W. A. Mozart piece at the International Piano Competition in Dublin (Ireland, 2012) and the victory with cellist Georgy Lomakov at the 15th International J. Brahms Competition in Pörtschach (Austria, 2008). Additionally, as a soloist or chamber pianist, he has participated and won awards at competitions in Indianapolis, Geneva, Munich, Terni, Shumen, Narva, Florence, Warsaw, Łódź, Wrocław, Gdańsk, Katowice.

The result of the pianist's musical encounters with various artists are also CD recordings. Radosław Kurek has recorded for record labels ANAGRAM, DUX, Soliton, BeArTon, German GENUIN and Bayerischer Rundfunk in Munich, as well as radio and television.
