The creators of the performance tell the story of a miracle – a miraculous encounter with spirits and the world of spirituality, of the extraordinary transformation of a bitter recluse into a family man, sensitive, who believed in this Christmas miracle.
“A Christmas Carol” directed by Wojciech Czerwiński is also a story about the consequences of looking back. Especially today – when most of us look far ahead, the extraordinary gift of miraculous power can be a sensitive and attentive look back.
On one Christmas Eve, Scrooge is given the chance to return to events he has forgotten. He also witnesses those he could not or did not want to know about, and even those that are yet to come. He can examine the small fragments of life, which seen from the perspective reveal their true meaning.
Accompanying Scrooge on this extraordinary journey, we can also look into our own souls. Unspoken words, broken promises, neglected feelings, unacknowledged smiles. Many of us realize the importance of events when it is too late. Christmas is a time when something can change, when one can emerge from darkness into the love that will become the meaning of life.
