Can the fortieth wedding anniversary of a couple from the provinces become an involuntary opportunity to participate in intrigue at the heights of power? Grażyna and Marian are traveling together for the first time in their lives to a luxury hotel to celebrate their fortieth wedding anniversary differently than all previous ones. And surely, a shared weekend could be endured if it weren't for the mysterious guest from Łódź, and the porter, who defines the relationship between the couple and the guest from Łódź as an erotic triangle, serving as an escape from the gray, mundane life of the couple. Will our heroes face a political scandal at the heights of power? And who will come out of this uncomfortable situation with their hands unscathed?

"Ruby Anniversaries" is a story about how one evening can change our lives through a series of completely unexpected events, but also a wise lesson: love and passion are never too late.

Grażyna and Marian are traveling together for the first time in their lives to a luxury hotel. However, they do not understand the practical meaning of the word "luxury", which leads to problems getting into their room, or an aversion to the exotic - according to their tastes - menu at the local restaurant. And surely, a shared weekend could be endured if it weren't for the guest from Łódź (a freshly appointed minister who finds himself in a very awkward situation) and the porter, who defines the relationship between the couple and the guest from Łódź as an erotic triangle, serving as an escape from the gray, mundane life of the couple. The Prime Minister summons the minister-elect, who cannot reveal himself for fear of scandal (he is known to the public as a morally impeccable man), while the older couple begins to rebuild their lives (including their erotic sphere) anew, and the porter Danny (Daniel, as his friends affectionately call him) would most like to turn the triangle into a quadrangle.
