The Adam Mickiewicz Institute, as part of the Polska Music program, once again invites young Polish composers to participate in the London Philharmonic Orchestra Young Composers 2020/21 program. The workshops provide an exceptional opportunity for direct collaboration with one of the best orchestras in the world and a unique chance for individual consultations with Brett Dean himself, who will serve as the mentor for the upcoming edition of the program. Participants will collaborate with the mentor throughout the year, developing their compositions during monthly series of seminars and workshops. The works they prepare will also be confronted with the opinions of LPO musicians. The culmination of the workshops will be a special concert at the Southbank Center, during which the participants' compositions will be performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. As every year, the LPO Young Composers program, in collaboration with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, offers participation to one composer from Poland.
The deadline for submitting applications is April 23 (Thursday), at 23:59.
