Mozart, Handel and The London Chorus at the Lutosławski Studio

The Warsaw Chamber Opera and the Music Agency of Polish Radio invite you on October 3rd at 19:00 to the Lutosławski Studio for a concert during which one of the most famous compositions of all time – 'Requiem' by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (conducted by Paweł Kos-Nowicki) and 'Zadok the Priest' and 'The King shall rejoice' by George Frideric Handel (conducted by Ronald Corp). The significance of this musical event is elevated by the participation of The London Chorus, which regularly performs in the most renowned halls of the world. They are regular guests at the Royal Albert Hall and Festival Hall in London. The whole world knows them, and now they will sing in Warsaw as part of their European tour.

The history of the choir has been uninterrupted since 1903, when it first appeared on a concert poster as the London Choral Society. In 2000, the choir members decided to enter the new Millennium already under the banner of The London Chorus. They perform under the baton of Ronald Corp, maintaining the reputation of the most versatile choir. Thanks to this, we can listen to them in both classical repertoire and far beyond the canon of serious music.
