Young Polish Artists Can Apply for VeloBank's Patronage Program

VeloBank has announced the call for applications for the third edition of VeloTalent – a patronage program for young talented artists. To participate in this year's edition, creators must submit their projects by May 12. VeloBank will finance the implementation of the winning initiative. In this way, it will support the development of careers and promote Polish creators of the younger generation.

The bank's goal is to support exceptional personalities in the realization of their artistic ideas. The prize in VeloTalent is financing for a project, regardless of the field: music, theater, dance, film, painting, or literature. Additionally, VeloBank will provide the laureate with mentoring support. The winner will take part in training sessions where they will gain knowledge, among other areas, in building their image, public speaking, and navigating copyright issues or financial management.

As one of the most important banks in Poland, we see our role very broadly – also as a patron that wants and can support Polish culture and creators of the younger generation. That is why we continue our flagship scholarship program. The previous two editions of VeloTalent were met with great success in the artistic community. I hope that this year, among many applications, we will find true artistic talents that we will help realize their small projects and support in safely developing their careers. – says Katarzyna Meissner, Managing Director of the Communication and Marketing Area at VeloBank.

The program is aimed at adult young artists who are not older than 36 years and already have some professional achievements to their name. They actively promote their talent but need support in developing their projects and reaching a wider audience. Applications can be submitted by May 12 at [email protected].

Previous VeloTalent laureates also encourage participation in the VeloBank program. Thanks to the bank's support last year, two young talented artists – classical guitarist Kacper Dworniczak and vocalist Zuza Baum – realized their dreams. Zuza's album is already available on the market, while Kacper's record will see the light of day at the end of April.

Thanks to VeloBank's support, I released an album with the band The Ancimons titled Let Them Play! featuring a gospel choir and string quartet. The album was released on CD and vinyl, and its promotion included television, radio, and concerts. As a band, we had the opportunity to participate in valuable workshops focusing on topics such as personal brand creation, copyright law, and even physiotherapy for musicians. Every young artist who wants to realize a project and has an idea for it should apply to the program. – says Zuza Baum, last year's VeloTalent laureate.

About the VeloTalent Program

VeloTalent is a program focused on corporate social responsibility, aimed at comprehensive support and promotion of exceptionally talented individuals from the fields of culture, science, and sports. It is a long-term strategy to be where passion needs reinforcement and an initiative that provides benefits in a 360° model: to clients, employees, and society. It ensures the possibility of building communication promoting the brand in a context other than financial and service-oriented. We address emotions, dreams. VeloTalent also includes the brand's engagement in meetings with students, sharing expert knowledge and experience with young scientists interested in modern banking. The sports area is supported through the sponsorship of the junior cycling team VeloTalent Cycling Team and the popular VeloBank VIA Dolny Śląsk racing series.
