She was born in 1988 in Bochum (Germany); at the age of five she moved to Poland, returning with her parents to their home country. At the age of seven, she began learning to play the violin, and at the age of ten - the piano at the Karol Szymanowski State Music School in Warsaw. She gained her first singing experiences in the children's choir 'Alla Polacca' at the Grand Theatre in Warsaw and in the church choir 'Laudate Dominum'.
After obtaining a diploma in violin at the Music School in Warsaw, Mira Graczyk began studying at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, to finally train her 'beloved instrument' - her voice. When she joined the singing class of Dr. Aleksandra Kucharska-Szefler (a student of the legendary Halina Mickiewicz, the 'Nightingale of Warsaw'), she was 'qualified' as a coloratura soprano, to train in this direction and repertoire.
She made her operatic debut - at the age of twenty - at the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk in the role of Barbarina in 'Le nozze di Figaro' ('The Marriage of Figaro') by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. She also participated in many masterclasses, including with Maestro Claudio Desderi, professors Lilian Sukis, Paul Esswood, Barbro Marklud, and Charlotte Lehmann. After two years of study at the Gdańsk Academy of Music, she came to Hanover to further develop her vocal abilities at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien. Since September 2010, she has been studying simultaneously with Prof. Charlotte Lehmann and Prof. Markus Schaeffer.
