Mikołaj Stroiński - composer, author of soundtracks for film, television, and video games. A graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and Berklee College of Music in Boston.
He composes music for international TV stations such as CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, HBO, and Discovery Channel. He is the author and co-author of soundtracks for films such as 'Hired Gun', 'Modjeska - Woman Triumphant', and 'Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore'. A Polish touch in his work includes music for TV series such as 'Zbrodnia' aired by AXN, 'Bez Tajemnic' from HBO, where he worked with Agnieszka Holland and Wojciech Smarzowski, and 'Paradoks', which was broadcast on TVP2, where he collaborated with Boris Lankosz and Greg Zgliński, as well as the Polish studio Opus Film.
In addition to composing music for television and film, he successfully composes tracks for popular video games. His latest significant project is the music for the third part of the Witcher saga - 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt'. Among the productions featuring his works are the trailer for the game 'Dark Souls 2' and titles such as 'MouseCraft' and 'WordTrap Dungeon' or 'The Vanishing of Ethan Carter', which was nominated for the Best Soundtrack award at The 18th Annual D.I.C.E Awards, the 2015 Game Developers Choice Awards, and the 2015 IGN Awards. Winner of the Golden Dragon award at Digital Dragons 2015 in Krakow for the best audio for this game ('The Vanishing of Ethan Carter').
Recipient of the title 'Outstanding Pole Abroad' in 2014, awarded by the Foundation of the Polish Promotional Emblem 'Teraz Polska' (in cooperation with the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland and the Senate of the Republic of Poland). Three-time finalist of the Transatlantyk festival in the Composer of the Year category (2011, 2012, and 2013) - he received an award twice (2012 and 2013). Winner in two categories - Outstanding Contribution-Newcomer and The Best Score Orchestral/Cinematic at the Annual Game Music Awards in 2014.
His versatile workshop and broad approach to music allow him to freely compose and focus on finding an original sound. Talent, recognized and awarded a scholarship by one of the best music schools in the United States - Berklee College of Music, and experience gained through collaboration on numerous productions have allowed him to develop a style that adds commercial attractiveness to images on one hand, and on the other hand, brings out depth and intensifies the intensity of perception, allowing viewers to experience everything in a naturally beautiful way.
