Mike Greene (USA) is a songwriter who plays guitar, mandolin, banjo, and accordion. He was born in New York on Brooklyn. As a young boy, he listened to the sounds of Harlem radio stations. To this day, he remembers his mother playing St. Louis Blues on the piano. The blues inspired him so much that he decided to learn to play the guitar. By 1970, he was playing with various bands in the States, then he emigrated to Europe where his true music career began. In France, he founded the band Dirty Grits, with which he performed 150 concerts by 1993. Then came the time for the band Bulldog Gravy, with a more innovative approach to the blues. From 2004 to 2007, the formation performed all over Europe, including in Poland at the Toruń Blues Meeting festival. But Mike's Polish connections do not end there; in France, he collaborates with Tomasz Dziano, forming the band The Imigrants, and in Poland, he has performed with Leszek Cichoński and Łukasz Wiśniewski.
