Martyna Pastuszka became interested in historical performance in 2001. Even during her studies at the Academy of Music in Katowice, completed in 2004, her artistic personality was shaped by the ensemble Arte dei Suonatori and distinguished artists with whom she has collaborated so far: Barthold Kuijken, Martin Gester, Stefano Montanari, Kati Debretzeni, Hidemi Suzuki, Rachel Podger, Eduardo Lopez Banzo, Alfredo Bernardini, Andrew Parrott, Guliano Carmignola, Konrad Junghänel, Daniel Sepec.
Over the course of more than ten years, she has collaborated with ensembles in Poland and abroad: New Dutch Academy, Holland Baroque Society, Le Concert Lorrain, Harmonie Universelle, WrocÅaw Baroque Orchestra, Musica Antiqua Provence, Concerto Polacco.
Currently, in her artistic activity, Martyna Pastuszka combines the roles of soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral musician. In Poland, she collaborates with the Arte dei Suonatori orchestra, and in France, with the Parisian orchestra Le Cercle de l'Harmonie. Since 2009, she has served as concertmaster and soloist of the Strasbourg orchestra Le Parlement de Musique under the direction of Martin Gester. Since 2010, she has been the concertmaster of the Capella Cracoviensis orchestra.
In 2012, together with Artur Malke, she founded {oh!} Historical Orchestra, whose activities focus mainly on the Silesia region, gaining recognition and invitations to international festivals both in Poland and in Europe.
Together with European ensembles, Martyna Pastuszka has participated in numerous recordings for radio and television, and many of the recorded CDs and DVDs have received accolades from the music press and have been enthusiastically received by international music critics. Since 2007, she has been leading a class of baroque violin at the Academy of Music in Katowice.
