A group of young performers talk about their dreams, and every sung note, every danced beat is the fulfillment of those dreams. We see on stage passion and enthusiasm, dance and singing that Polish theater has never seen before. There is love, madness, and youth. And all this makes the boundary between theater and reality fluid, the action of the performance seems to go far beyond the theatrical foyer, and time becomes solely a function of imagination. 'METRO'. Somewhere between fiction and reality... Street musicians, singers, and dancers perform a show for passengers on underground metro platforms. Its creator and animator is Jan, for whom the metro is home, and the underground - a way of life. The show causes a sensation, and young artists receive a job offer in commercial theater. It's a story of dreams and disappointments, of passion and betrayal, of youthful ideals and the power of money, and above all, it's a story of romantic love.

Over all these years (over 1200 performances have already been played), it has not lost its relevance. It still attracts crowds of viewers and remains in memory for a long time. I consider "Metro" Studio Buffo to be a theatrical canon for every Pole. "Metro" is a very contemporary musical. It tells the story of young people who, tempted by various head and talent hunters, want to embark on a career path. Their expectations and dreams collide with the brutal world. These sensitive, young, budding artists must face cynicism, rejection, the power of money. Is that what they want? Is it worth entering the brutal world of show business, with an emphasis on business? Is it worth making a career by stepping on bodies? The characters of the musical face such questions. "Metro" deals not only with careerism. It shows a world dominated by money and the pursuit of information, the frantic pace of the modern world. From the morning we listen to the news, gather information, read newspapers, then work, earn money, build a career. In the evening, more news, more information, learning, training, because you have to be better and better. The world sets new demands, constantly raising the bar.
