The Desperados, Piotr Dębowski and Marcin Czarnecki, have been performing together since their time at the Academy of Music in Łódź and have been considered the best guitar duo in Poland for many years. They have captured the attention of the guitar world with their virtuosity and instrumental feats, such as performing Mozart's Turkish March on one guitar with four hands. However, it would be unfair to perceive Los Desperados solely through the lens of their stage performances, as their music is primarily about technical perfection and excellent arrangements of songs from various genres and musical styles. Whether they are playing classical, jazz, flamenco, pop, folk, or country songs, they always receive admiration from the audience and warm reception from critics. This is evidenced by Los Desperados' first place in the category of 'other musical styles' in the Guitar Top '99 competition, organized by the magazine 'Gitara i Bas', as well as their first place in the 2005 readers' poll of 'Świat Gitary' in the category of 'best Polish band with guitar involvement'. So far, the duo has released three albums: Great hits in guitar version, World Greatest Hits, and Inspirations. These albums feature compositions by classical masters (Mozart, Paganini, Bach, Chopin), jazz pieces by artists such as Pat Metheny, Django Reinhardt, Charlie Haden, and Paul Desmond, as well as popular film motifs like Zorba Dance by Mikis Theodorakis and The Pink Panther by Henry Mancini. Thanks to such a diverse repertoire, they are invited to various musical events, not only those dedicated to guitars and classical music. They have performed in France, Germany, Slovakia, the Canary Islands, and the United States, including during the III Festival of Virtuosity and Musical Art in Nowy Sącz, the International Festival 'Ghitaralia 2000' in Przemyśl, and the 'Nuits de la Guitare' Festival in Patrirnonio, France. They also performed at the invitation of the Panderewski Symphony Orchestra at the Christian Heritage Academy in Chicago. In addition to his musical career, it is worth mentioning Marcin Czarnecki's second passion in life, besides music, which is electronics, as he has achievements in this field as well. He is the creator of the compact acoustic amplifier Martinello, which according to Piotr Słapy and the Fingerstyle.pl portal, can boldly compete with the top Western products of this kind.
