Event Description

Jerome Angust woke up that morning with the thought that it would be a good day. He did not foresee a car breakdown, a lost driver from the app, and an unexpected platform change of the city train. To make matters worse, while waiting for the next train, he is approached by the self-proclaimed King of the Platform – Textor Texel. A worn-out jacket, two mismatched socks, and a shopping cart full of treasures and garbage allow one to imagine how this conversation will unfold.

However, Textor Texel does not approach Jerome to ask for a favor. His mission is much more complicated and has an internal structure. Jerome will have to listen to three stories and sing a song to uncover the true intentions of his companion. But all in good time – as we know, train delays can stretch on indefinitely.

'The Enemy's Cosmetics' is an adaptation of the bestselling novel by Amélie Nothomb, telling about the dark side of human nature. The new version of the show was created based on a production that was one of the first in the repertoire of the Formal Arrangement Theater.
