Viennese Concert with Stars - VIVA VIENNA - VIVA BROADWAY is a unique international music project by AVIP Group - Woytek Mrozek Production.
This concert is 120 minutes of paradise for the ears and soul! Giants of the Polish and European operatic and operetta stage will present to you the most beautiful arias, duets, and musical songs.
We return and invite you on a journey to the dancing, magical Vienna and the energetic New York, where the most beautiful arias, duets, waltzes, and polkas by Johann Strauss, Franz Lehár, Imre Kálmán will resound, as well as the greatest musical hits, film songs, and world hits of all time. This year's concert will feature international artists known to Polish and international audiences, including Agata Sava mezzo-soprano - a soloist of the opera in Prague, who actively performs on stages around the world such as: Chicago Philharmonic Hall, National Philharmonic in Warsaw, Lucerne Concert Hall, and many more. She is a graduate of Hohschule für Musik in Munich. Barbara Gutaj soprano, soloist of the Grand Theatre in Poznań, awarded the prestigious Theatre Music Award named after Jan Kiepura in the category of “Best Debut” for her debut on the stage of the Mazovian Music Theatre. Her debut at the Grand Theatre in Poznań took place during the premiere of “Faust” by A. Radziwiłł in the direction of Adam Hanuszkiewicz, where her role as Małgorzata Józef Kański in “Musical Movement” was described as “the operatic discovery of the season.” Nazar Tatsyshyn - tenor is the undeniable number one among the young generation of tenors. A soloist endowed with a beautiful voice singing in the best tradition of Italian Bel Canto is a soloist of the National Opera in Budapest. Andrzej Witlewski actor, vocalist - bass has been collaborating for years with many cultural institutions in Poland. The concert will be graced by the participation of the extraordinary violin virtuoso Marjan Lomaha, who spent the last 3 years in Japan performing in every concert hall of that country. Lomaha has also performed in the Berlin Philharmonic, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and Leipzig Gewandhaus. This year he will perform in Poland. In his performance, we will hear virtuosic paraphrases from Fiddler on the Roof, Monti's Czardas, and works from the repertoire of Roby Lakatos. The entire concert will be conducted by the renowned conductor and clarinet virtuoso Maestro Woytek Mrozek, who actively performs worldwide. "..Mrozek is among the sought-after artists in the world..." wrote Süddeutsche Zeitung in Munich. The artist is known for his unconventional ideas and unbridled imagination. The artists will transport the listeners to the homeland of the waltz, presenting extraordinary vocal and instrumental craftsmanship. This extraordinary gala will be enriched with virtuoso dances, colorful costumes, and rich choreography, allowing for the experience of many artistic sensations in a royal style. The dance pairs are soloists of the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Lviv. On this magical evening, the greatest hits of the King of Waltz Johann Strauss will resound such as the overture from Die Fledermaus, Kaiser March, Radetzky March, the waltz “On the Beautiful Blue Danube,” “Voices of Spring,” as well as polkas Trich Trasch, Eljen Magyar Polka, Anne Polka, Thunder and Lightning, and many other orchestral hits. There will also be no shortage of show-stopping arias and duets from the most famous operettas: Die Fledermaus, Baron Cygański, The Csárdás Princess, The Countess Marica, Merry Widow, or The Land of Smiles. The audience will listen to among others: arias “Adeli,” “Czardasz Sylvi,” Barinkaya's couplets “Great Glory is a Lament,” “Play Gypsies,” “Artists from Variete,” “Brunettes Blondies” and also duets of all time, including “Silent Lips, the Soul Sings,” “What Should I Explain to You,” “One Way to Verasdin,” “What Is Happening, I’m Going Crazy,” “In the Rhythm of the Waltz,” “Frank's Lament” from The Csárdás Princess. There will also be no shortage of flagship Neapolitan songs such as : “Funikuli-Funikula,” “O Surdato N’amurato.”In the second part of the concert, the artists will present themselves in a repertoire of musicals, film songs, and world hits including: “Za Tobą pójdę jak na bal” – K. Krawczyk, “Wielka Miłość” – S. Krajewski, “Delilah” – T. Jones, “Nella Fantasia” from the film Mission, “New York-New York” – F. Sinatra, “Volare,” “O sole mio” – in the version of E. Presley, “Przetańczyć całą noc” from the musical My Fair Lady, “Gdybym był bogaczem” from the musical Fiddler on the Roof, and many other New Year's musical surprises.
The Viennese Concert is a vocal powerhouse that inspires enthusiasm not only due to its diverse vocal capabilities but also through the captivating energy on stage that is contagious to the audience. Each concert is a celebration of vocal music, and the audience simply adores their charming and authentic stage image.
