FISZ EMADE TWORZYWO is one of the most important bands in the Polish music market. Since 2000, they have released 10 albums in an approximately hip-hop style. They became famous in Polish hip-hop by introducing eclectic sounds and lyrics full of humor and characteristic melancholy, referencing the vibes of Native Tongues at the time. From that moment until today, the brothers have been constantly experimenting, trying to ensure that all their inventions are connected by one ingredient - high quality and commitment.
Their latest album, 'Ballady i Protesty' is a strong return to the roots of the band's musical journey - to the 90s, when the so-called city music - hip-hop or electronic music was developing. It is a sentimental story about the sounds that were an inspiration and pointed the way for searches. But above all, it is an album of protest. Full of disagreement with childish, aggressive, black-and-white politics, with bypassing such important topics in public life as human rights or climate change. And, as always with Fisz, all this is conveyed in strong lyrics, full of irony, focused on the rushing world, insightful looks into the soul of a guest lost in the chaos of inevitable changes.
The band's new single titled 'Niemoc', which premieres on December 1, promotes the latest album of Tworzywo and refers to the roots of rap music. It is a story about first bands and friendships. Fisz talks about the times of early high school when the concert band - Five Kinds of Happiness was formed. The music video for the song includes archival VHS footage of one of the first concerts of the Waglewski brothers at the Remont club in 1993. The whole is dedicated to the memory of the guitarist and good friend of the boys from that period - Darek Kaczor Świątek, who tragically died under unclear circumstances in one of the monasteries.
Tworzywo Sztuczne – a Polish group performing broadly understood hip-hop music, including influences from genres such as jazz, downtempo, or funk. It was formed in 2002 in Warsaw at the initiative of the brothers: music producer and instrumentalist Piotr 'Emade' Waglewski and rapper and vocalist Bartosz 'Fisz' Waglewski.
