The concert program titled 'Autumn concert of romantic piano music for 4 hands' consists of pieces from three volumes of 'Le jeunes au piano' by Aleksander Tansman, as well as Andante and Allegro brillante A major op. 92 by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and the famous Fantasy in F minor op. 103 (D 940) by Franz Schubert.
Hanna Holeksa and Anna Liszewska began their joint activity as Bacewicz Piano Duo in 2021. Both pianists combined their common interests in the rich legacy of Polish chamber music for piano for 4 hands and for 2 pianos.
As a result of receiving a creative scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, their first joint album 'A travers Pologne' was created. The pianists regularly perform, presenting both recognized and less frequently performed works.
The concert is organized by: The StanisÅaw Liszewski Foundation and The Museum of the City of Åódź. More information can be found on the Liszewski Foundation website.
