On Saturday (December 7, 2024, at 19:00), another concert will take place at Willa Lentza as part of the series 'Fryderyk Chopin at Willa Lentza. All Works'.
The series 'Fryderyk Chopin at Willa Lentza. All Works' was initiated by the Szczecin Willa Lentza, with the first event taking place in January 2024. Since then, the following artists have performed within the walls of Willa Lentza: Jakub Kuszlik, Ewa PobÅocka, David Serebryanik, Kevin Kenner, and SÅawomir Wilk. In the coming months, during the villa evenings, works by Fryderyk Chopin will be interpreted by contemporary stars of the stage, applauded by audiences in prestigious concert halls around the world. The main ambition of the organizers is to present all of the master's works.
Willa Lentza is one of the most diverse and active cultural institutions. Events at Willa Lentza take place almost daily â the institution's program features interesting exhibitions of Polish and foreign artists, concerts of world-renowned musicians, and theatrical performances. The activities of Willa Lentza encompass a wide range of cultural events that promote music, art, and broadly understood culture at a high level. Despite the prestigious presentation, the event organizers successfully shorten the distance between the work and the audience â this is possible thanks to providing an intimate contact with great art.
This time, the Polish A major op. 13, Waltzes, Etudes, Mazurkas, and Polonaise A major op. 53 will be interpreted by Mateusz Krzyżowski â a winner of first prizes awarded during important music events, such as: the International Piano Competition named after Ignacy Jan Paderewski in Bydgoszcz (2022), the XII International Competition for Young Pianists 'Arthur Rubinstein in memoriam' in Bydgoszcz (2021). He is a graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (class of Prof. Joanna Åawrynowicz-Just).
He has performed, among others, at the National Philharmonic, the NOSPR Concert Hall in Katowice, and the Philharmonics of Silesia, Kraków, Åódź, and ÅwiÄtokrzyska. He has been applauded in France, Japan, Lithuania, Germany, Slovakia, the United States of America, Hungary, Ukraine, and the United Arab Emirates. He has collaborated with the following conductors: MirosÅaw Jacek BÅaszczyk, Kai Bumann, Jakub Chrenowicz, Jurek DybaÅa, Alexander Humalim, MirosÅaw J.M. Klauza, Marek MoÅ, Wojciech Rodek, Marek Wroniszewski, and Jan MiÅosz Zarzycki. He has made three album recordings with chamber music: 'Peine et Plaisir' (Requiem Records), 'Interwar Retrospections' and 'The Most Beautiful Songs' (Sarton Records).
He is a scholarship holder of programs: 'MÅoda Polska' of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Jerzy Semkow Foundation, the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship, the National Fund for Children, and the 'Tychy â Good Place' Foundation.
The Cultural Ambassador of Tychy in 2024 was awarded the 'Magna cum Laude' Medal for the best graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
