'On the Road' is a humorous and touching story of a family as unpredictable as a tornado, who fall in love at first sight. Their daily life gains momentum when energetic Józek (Marian Opania) and charming Elżbieta (Małgorzata Rożniatowska) decide to embark on another joint trip across Poland... And when it comes to traveling, it can only be in their beloved car from their youth. An opportunity arises because an ideal Nysa appears in their son's (Mariusz Dręciak) dealership. However, the son and daughter-in-law (Anita Sokołowska) oppose the trip, so the seniors have no choice but to steal the car. The crazy plan of the grandparents is supported by their granddaughter (Julia Wieniawa) and the grumpy neighbor (Wiktor Zborowski). Finally, Józek and Elżbieta travel on their own terms: they laugh, take risks, and love as if they were 20 years old. When the characters reach their destination, they will understand that the place in the world they occupy is actually their own. No one predicted that the crazy and distant journey of the grandparents could bring the whole family closer together.
