Event Description

Chichotek is a little figure who lives in a joyful, forested land - Chichotów. One day, while playing hide and seek with his friend Zaśmiejka, he finds an abandoned egg in the grass. The heroes guess that the egg must have fallen from one of the nests located in the Land of Tree Crowns, where forest birds live. Unfortunately, there is a terrible legend about the Land of Tree Crowns in Chichotów – supposedly, there are creatures and monsters living there, ruled by the Owl Queen with a piercing gaze. But what can they do if the egg is bouncing and longing for its parents? 'Chichotek and Zaśmiejka in the Land of Tree Crowns' is a story about the attempt to understand the world of another being, which is different from ourselves. The performance tells about the curiosity of experiencing, gently observing, tolerance, not closing oneself off to the 'other' and individual experiencing and analyzing the surrounding reality. The value of the performance is its interactivity; young viewers have the opportunity to actively participate in the 'action' of the performance, not just being recipients, but also co-creators of the tale. Only thanks to the ideas of children, their imagination, and energy, the action of the performance 'will move forward'. This type of participation in a theatrical performance gives young children a sense of security and creative, theatrical agency. Will Chichotek and Zaśmiejka find the courage to embark on a journey to the unknown Land of Tree Crowns, and what adventures await them along the way – find out for yourselves! 'Chichotek and Zaśmiejka in the Land of Tree Crowns' is the second part of the beloved and well-known interactive performance for preschool audiences titled 'Chichotek'. However, it is a separate story, which we invite not only children who have seen 'Chichotek', but also everyone who will visit Chichotów for the first time.
