In 2002, he graduated with honors from the Stanis!!!u0142aw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gda!!!u0144sk in the cello class of Professor Roman Suchecki. He participated in Master Interpretation Courses and Master Classes with such pedagogues as: Roman Suchecki, Mischa Maisky, Ivan Monighetti, Victoria Yagling, Angelika May, Roman Jab!!!u0142o!!!u0144ski.
He conducts an active concert activity. As a chamber musician, he performed, among others, during three consecutive editions of the Witold Lutos!!!u0142awski Forum (National Philharmonic in Warsaw - 2001, 2002, 2003) and participated in the III Chamber Music Festival in Gda!!!u0144sk. He performed chamber music with such distinguished musicians as: Jan Stanienda, Mirel Jancovici, Robert Kabara, Marek Toporowski, and as a member of the Dafo String Quartet. In the years 2001/2005, he collaborated with the Orchestra of the Royal Capital City of Krakow – Sinfonietta Cracovia, where he held the position of concertmaster of the cello group. With this ensemble, he performed, among others, at the Pablo Casals Festival (Puerto Rico), at the Schleswig Holstein Musik Festival (Germany), at the Easter Festival of Ludwig van Beethoven (Krakow), and at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Festival (Bydgoszcz). Together with the orchestra, he participated in the International Conducting Competition Lorin Maazel and in the Master Conducting Course of Christoph Eschenbach. He is permanently associated with the Gda!!!u0144sk Chamber Orchestra “Hanseatica,” where he serves as the concertmaster of the cello group. This ensemble received the Pomeranian Artistic Award in 2004 in the category of Debut of the Year and performed at music festivals in Poland and abroad (including “Mozartfest” in Zoetermeer – Netherlands, “Mu-Se” Musikfestival in Seelze – Germany, Gda!!!u0144sk Spring Music – Gda!!!u0144sk). A recording made with the young jazz pianist S!!!u0142awek Jasku!!!u0142ke (2004) received a nomination for the “Fryderyk 2005” music award.
At the Bach Competition organized by the Stanis!!!u0142aw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gda!!!u0144sk (2000), he received the II prize in the category “Chamber Music” and the III prize in the category “Solo Music.” At the VII National Cello Competition named after Dezyderiusz Danczowski (Pozna!!!u0144 2002), he received an honorable mention. As a member of the DAL!!!u00c3!!!u008d Piano Quartet, he was a finalist of the International Chamber Music Competition Premio Vittorio Gui (Florence, 2008).
He is a two-time scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, and a laureate of the Mayor of Gda!!!u0144sk Award for Young Creators in the Field of Culture in 2003. He is an assistant in the Department of String Instruments and the Department of Chamber Music at the Stanis!!!u0142aw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gda!!!u0144sk. Since 2004, he has also been permanently associated with the Symphony Orchestra of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic named after Frédéric Chopin in Gda!!!u0144sk, where since 2009 he has held the position of concertmaster of the cello group.
He is a member of the board of the “Hanseatica Foundation,” which is engaged in initiating and supporting artistic ventures in the country and abroad, as well as supporting musicians and musical ensembles.
