The Orava Quartet, consisting of: Daniel Kowalik, David Dalseno (violins), Thomas Chawner (viola), and Karol Kowalik (cello), has been hailed by Limelight and The Australian magazines as 'the most exciting young quartet in the area,' 'world-class,' and 'a true phenomenon.' Gaining a reputation and devoted fans for their passionate and exciting performances, the Quartet brings its unique sound and breathtaking intensity to the classics of the string quartet canon, making the audience fall in love with these pieces again. The first Australian string quartet invited to sign a contract with Universal Music, Orava has performed in North America, the United Arab Emirates, and Asia, and has also closely collaborated with the world-renowned Takács Quartet in the USA for two years, winning major awards at the Asia Pacific Chamber Music Competition 2013 and performing at the Sydney Opera House. Since returning to Australia, the quartet has seen an impressive and rapid increase in interest in the country, performing regularly at all major classical and artistic music festivals. They are based in Brisbane and are also the resident quartet of Camerata – Queensland's Chamber Orchestra.
Łukasz Krupiński – an outstanding Polish pianist living in London, a semi-finalist of the 17th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. In November 2021, he performed at Wigmore Hall in London during the Gala Ceremony of the 50th Anniversary of the Chopin Society UK in the presence of HRH Princess Alexandra, Royal Patron of the Chopin Society in London, and His Royal Highness Edward, Duke of Kent. Łukasz Krupiński is a Steinway Artist and a finalist of the UK Piano Open, winner of the Grand Prix in San Marino. He studied with Prof. Alicja Paleta-Bugaj and Dr. Konrad Skolarski at UMFC in Warsaw, Prof. Arie Vardi in Hanover, and Prof. Dmitri Alexeev at the Royal College of Music in London. He has performed at Carnegie Hall/Stern Auditorium in New York, Cadogan Hall, St. Martin in the Fields, Royal Albert Hall in London, and at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw with a recital streamed live to Lincoln Center in New York. He has concerted with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Philharmonic, Buffalo Philharmonic, Orchestra of the Americas, Sinfonia Varsovia, National Philharmonic Orchestra, and Santander Orchestra, under the baton of conductors such as: Robert Treviño, Lawrence Foster, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Daniel Raiskin, Alexander Walker. In the next artistic season, he will perform in London with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and at Holy Trinity Church in Stratford upon Avon, the burial place of William Shakespeare. His debut solo album, Espressione, was nominated for an ICMA, and this autumn his new album (Chopin – Panufnik – Penderecki) will be released, this time in duet with the esteemed cellist living in Belgium – Kacper Nowak. Łukasz Krupiński is a respected interpreter of the music of Beethoven, Chopin, Ravel, and Scriabin; his performance of Beethoven's Appassionata Sonata during the Leeds International Piano Competition, broadcast by Medici TV, attests to the global dynamism of the pianist's development since the Chopin Competition in 2015.
