Micha!!!u0142 Kmiecik, the screenwriter and director of the play based on the story titled Transformation, emphasizes that the work of Franz Kafka has been with him since he first read it in middle or high school.

'I am curious about Gregor Samsa, who wakes up one day in his bed and realizes that he has turned into a monstrous insect. I remember my fear when I first read this story' - says the director and screenwriter of the play. In this performance, he wants to tell about people living in a world where one can turn into an insect.

'The power of Kafka's prose lies in the fact that improbable events encounter the most probable heroes. They are not everymen; they have their own particularity, uniqueness, yet they are in no way predisposed to deal with what they have to face in the stories and tales of the writer' - adds Micha!!!u0142 Kmiecik. The premiere of the play Transformation is scheduled for September 14 on the Large Stage of WTW.
