Młody australijski piosenkarz, autor tekstów i wirtuoz gitary po raz pierwszy w Polsce! Muzyk wywodzący się ze stajni talentów Giny Mendello - wieloletniej managerki Tommy’ego Emmanuela – zainauguruje cykl Guitar Masters Fingerstyle Series. 

Daniel Champagne, podążając śladami muzykującego ojca, po raz pierwszy wziął do rąk swój ulubiony instrument jako pięciolatek. W wieku 12 lat zaczął pisać utwory i już jako nastolatek występował solo, gdzie tylko mógł, szlifując swoje umiejętności. W wieku 18 lat opuścił szkołę i wyruszył w trasę koncertową. Przez następne pięć lat przemierzał Amerykę Północną, Europę, Nową Zelandię i oczywiście swoją ojczyznę – Australię, grając na niezliczonych festiwalach. Dziś Daniel znany jest nie tylko ze swoich melodyjnych, wręcz romantycznych piosenek, ale też z dużej swobody scenicznej i dynamicznych występów. Na jego one-man-show składają się: liryczno-rockowy wokal, znakomita fingerstyle’owa gitara oraz świetny kontakt z publicznością.

Guitar Masters Fingerstyle Series to cykl koncertów organizowanych przez Wrocławskie Towarzystwo Gitarowe, prezentujący twórczość gitarzystów akustycznych posługujących się techniką fingerstyle. Ten, mało rozpowszechniony jeszcze w Poslce nurt muzyki gitarowej, ma już rzesze fanów na całym świecie i wielu wybitnych twórców, których żyjącym mistrzem jest Tommy Emmanuel. Chcemy przybliżyć polskiej publiczności ten efektowny styl gry i zainspirować wielu początkujących gitarzystów akustycznych.

A young Australian singer, songwriter and guitar virtuoso for the first time in Poland! The musician from the talent stable of Gina Mendello – a longtime manager of Tommy Emmanuel – will inaugurate the Guitar Masters Fingerstyle Series.

Daniel Champagne, following the footsteps of his musician father, for the first time took his favorite instrument as a five-year-old. At the age of 12 he started to write songs and already as a teenager he performed solo where he could, honing his skills. At the age of 18, he left school and embarked on a concert tour. For the next five years he traveled North America, Europe, New Zealand and of course his homeland – Australia, playing at countless festivals. 

Today, Daniel is known not only for his melodious, even romantic songs, but also for the great freedom of stage and dynamic performances. His one-man show consists of lyrical-rock vocals, an excellent fingerstyle guitar and great contact with the audience.

Guitar Masters Fingerstyle Series is a series of concerts organized by the Wrocław Guitar Society, presenting the work of acoustic guitarists using the fingerstyle technique. This trend of guitar music, not widely spread in Poland, already has many fans all over the world and many outstanding artists whose living master is Tommy Emmanuel. We want to introduce the Polish audience to this impressive style of playing and inspire many aspiring acoustic guitarists.
